LONDON: Harry Kane’s extra-time goal gave England a 2-1 win over Denmark just moments ago and took them to the Euro 2020 final to face Italy.
It was the first major tournament final for England since the 1966 World Cup.
Kane exploded after Kasper Schmeichel saved his controversial penalty awarded in the 104th minute in front of nearly 65,000 fans at Wembley.
Mikkel Damsgaard gave Denmark the lead in the 30th minute through an impressive free kick.
However, Simon Kjaer’s own goal gave England an equalizer before the end of the first half.
